CHRIS JANSON - Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get - Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment
Country crooning rocker Chris Janson is back with a new single. “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get” is available digitally and on all streaming platforms now via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment.
One of the trademark elements of the Perryville, MO native’s personality and music is his unapologetic honest nature. Over the course of his successful career that has spanned nearly 15 years as a recording artist, his raucous party-going, fun-loving nature has resonated with listeners across all ages, making him a must-see act. He now pays homage and celebrates that way of life with his latest tune he wrote along with Tyler Hubbard, RaeLynn, Blake Hubbard, and Jarrod Ingram.
“There is no better way to describe me on a daily basis. This song is 100% authentic, every word,” Janson said. “It’s fun, it’s rowdy and it’s the truth. Roll your window down and crank it up!”
Showcasing his impressive vocals, “The Human Hummingbird” craftily navigates his way through the sing-along lyrics and the catchy, hooky riffs that will have listeners toe-tapping and head-bobbing from start to finish.
“I like sitting in trees, waiting on a deer
Chilling on a riverbank, drinking cold beer
When I get a truck, I just jack it up
Find myself a mudhole, go and get it stuck
Head to toe in camo, that’s just how it is
But I ain’t tryna hide, what you see is what you get”
Wearing his heart on his sleeve and transparently pledging the love for his way of life, Janson is speaking to not only his devout fan base, but also is introducing himself to the new generation of country music enthusiasts.
“Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get” follows “All I Need Is You,” his debut single with BMLG Records, off his ‘The Outlaw Side of Me.’ The tune recently reached the top of the radio charts, marking his fifth No. at Country Radio.
Since releasing his first single in 2010, Chris has continuously evolved as a songwriter, singer and performer. From the fun-loving and care-free “Buy Me A Boat” and “Fix A Drink” to the subdued ballads “Drunk Girl” and “Bye Mom,” Janson has proven himself as a multi-faceted artist with much to offer the genre as a diversified songwriter.
As usual, Janson will once again be hitting the road for an extensive year of touring in 2024. In addition to his headlining tour, he’ll be sharing the stage with Cody Johnson on select dates before jumping on Bret Michaels’ Pardi Gras Tour in July.
