RUSSELL DICKERSON - Good Day To Have A Great Day - Triple Tigers

Multi-platinum selling artist Russell Dickerson has found monumental success with softer paced songs, including his latest #1 “God Gave Me A Girl.” However, he’s also always been an artist who can induce an irresistibly feel-good vibe within ultra-catchy melodies and groove laden rhythms.

Pulling influence straight out of his own life’s motto, the superstar opens his next chapter with his infectious new single “Good Day To Have A Great Day,” upholding the idea that it’s our own internal choice to make every day be our best one yet.

Written by Russell, Jesse Frasure, Justin Tranter, and Eren Cannata, the feel-good bop immediately injects your speakers with its summer dripped melody, setting the tone of the song as it echoes the optimistic perspective to make today a great day, if for no other reason than just simply because you woke up on the right side of the bed with a fresh outlook on life.

Singing through a list of positives about the new day that is upon him, Dickerson tallies through each of the verses the many different reasons that he’s hitting life with a little extra pep in his step; from the sunshine knocking on his window to his girl being sweeter than the Southern sweet tea that their sipping.

The precisely placed addition of the church styled choir through the backing vocals on specific lines helps to add a flare of extreme joyfulness to them, while the repeated “it’s a good day to have a great day” that’s spread throughout the bridge continually grips the listener as you bop into the final chorus while floating on your newfound, high on life buzz:

“Bluebirds on my shoulder

Counting four leaf clovers

sunshine serotonin

It’s a good day to have a great day

Blue jeans, silver lining

I’m out here cloud nining

Ask me why I’m smiling

It’s a good day to have a great day”

Inducing an addictive positivity that achieves the monumental goal of transforming the listeners mindset to one of the same, encouraging optimism that Russell holds dear to himself, you can’t help but begin to instinctively feel better about your day as you vibe through the sunshine laden feel, most likely while shoulder dancing in your car or be-bopping across your kitchen floor.
