Yadkinville, NC native, TCM Class of 2022 artist and Country Evolution’s 2023 Artist to Watch Landon Parker continues to expand his impressive musical catalogue with the release of his latest single, “Back At The Bar”.  Written by Parker along with Carlo Colascacco, the upbeat rocking anthem is available digitally and on all streaming platforms as of July 14th.

Landon’s latest tune is essentially an ode to the partier in all of us.  Days are long and weeks are tough, and we all deserve a little time to let loose and have fun.  Of course, as we have all experienced, sometimes things get out of a hand, we have too many drinks, and feel the consequences of those actions the next morning.  “Back At The Bar” is a tribute to those who may get carried away one night, but that doesn’t stop them from coming back the next time and continuing the party.

This song is a rowdy, party tune that is perfect for a night out on the town or an essential addition to a road trip playlist.  It’s a toe-tapper, head-bobber, and stand-up-and-dance track that will appeal to fans across the genre’s boundaries, but will particularly resonate with an edgier taste.

The lyrics are simple yet clever, and easy to learn and sing along to after the first listen.  Landon’s vocals are on point, while the clean, polished production and musical accompaniment combines a modern element to another wise honest account of a rocking country tune.

The release of the tune is partly due to the overwhelming audience response when Parker and his band have played it at his shows.

“This song has been killing it in our set for years, and I’m so excited to finally have it out,”, he shares.  “’Back At The Bar’ is a story about good times with good friends and all those crazy nights you wouldn’t trade for anything, no matter how painful tomorrow’s gonna be.”

If ever a label name was fitting for an artist’s personality and music catalogue, it would be the relationship between Bad Ass Records and Landon Parker.  His songs are sophisticated, professionally written and produced, and one release continues to surpass its predecessor in quality and notoriety.

Parker first made a name for himself on the country music spectrum with a string of high-quality releases including “Caught Me At A Good Time,” “Good Beer Drinkin’,” and “Up For Anything”.  Tracks like “Hits Home” and “Your Baby Girl” continued his escalation up the ranks of the genre’s bright young stars, and now he is poised to take his career to the next level.  Landon currently has a handful of dates scheduled on his tour page, including a special performance at Watershed Festival on August 5th and an Opry Party Plaza set in Nashville on August 26th.
