Following the releases of “One Good Move” and “A Little Right Now”, Charles Esten continues to give fans a preview into his forthcoming independent debut album with yet another new track.  “In A Bar Somewhere” is now available across all streaming platforms and digital retailers, showcasing the undeniable songwriting ability and evolutionary artistry of a true musical talent.

Co-written with Neil Medley and Jason Gantt, this tune incorporates that classic trademark sound that we have come to expect and appreciate from a Charles Esten-penned tune.  Combining the elegance of the music and vocals with the lyrical turmoil of the subject matter results in a thought-provoking invitation into the hearts and minds of the songwriters.  The theme is one of heartbreak and nostalgia, incorporating elements of blues and subtle pop inferences to add a unique spice to an otherwise somber country crooner.

Fans in Florida and Alabama can undoubtedly expect to hear new tunes from the upcoming album this summer when Esten hits the road on a co-headlining run with Julia Cole on their EVERY MINUTE EVERY MILE TOUR in July.

More than a decade after moving to Nashville, TN, Esten is widely known as one of the more well-rounded talents in Music City.  From his days as Deacon Claybourne on the ABC / CMT hit “Nashville to his countless appearances at the Grand Ole Opry, he continues to encompass and engage himself in multiple avenues of the entertainment industry, from acting to singing to songwriting.  Having already tallied more than 10 million career streams to date and being regarded as one of the more talented and respected songwriters in town, Charles’ forthcoming album promises to be one of the more anticipated independent releases of the year.
