AVERY ANNA - Wish You Well - Warner Music Group
Poised to take her ever-escalating career to the next level, fast-rising country music starlet Avery Anna has released a brand-new track, one that further demonstrates her powerhouse vocal ability and savvy songwriting talents. “Wish You Well” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms, via Warner Music Group.
Written by Anna along with David Fanning and Jon Hume, the new track finds the songstress taking the high road amidst a difficult ending to a relationship, but chooses clemency in the wake and aftermath of a breakup.
“’Wish You Well’ is about forgiveness – not forgetting – but letting someone go, and letting yourself get over the things that people did to you, to hurt you, which is something that I’ve had to do recently in my life,” Avery said. “I hope that it helps you forgive you.”
Some of the greatest songs in history, across country music and beyond, are those that were written out of pain, sadness and heartbreak. And while Avery has shown her ability to musically demonstrate her grief into beautiful harmonies and melodies, she turns in a new direction with her latest release by focusing on emotional reprieve and maturity.
“But after everything, I wish you well
I hope you never feel the pain I felt
After all the hell you gave, you taught me to take the blame
And you should be ashamed of yourself
And after everything, I wish you well”
The release of “Wish You Well” comes as Avery is currently climbing the radio charts with Sam Barber on their viral duet, “Indigo”. In addition to recently sharing her impressively ingenious take on Patsy Cline’s “Crazy”, the Arizona native also debuted “Mr. Predictable” earlier this year, marking a new era of music as her first solo song since her celebrated 2024 debut album, ‘Breakup Over Breakfast’.
Having made her formal introduction to the mainstream country music audience with her October 2023 release, “I Will (When You Do)” with Dylan Marlowe, Avery’s career has taken off into the stratosphere in the last year and a half. Having earned tens of millions of global streams, that tune alone helped propel her into the realm of fast-rising country artists to watch.
With more than 500 million global streams to date, Avery has quickly become an in-demand touring artist. She’s set to take the stage at Nashville’s The Pinnacle on April 17, where she’ll open for Ian Munsick, followed by an appearance at the Grand Ole Opry on April 18. Avery will return to Stagecoach this spring before joining Luke Bryan’s “Country Song Came On Tour” and Brad Paisley’s “Truck Still Works World Tour” for select dates this summer.
