Up-and-coming country singer/songwriter Laci Kaye Booth released her latest tune, “Shuffle”, to country radio on September 13th.

Written by Booth along with Derrick Southerland and Sam Ellis, “Shuffle” is a tune about the women of country music that she grew up on, from The Chicks to Shania Twain to Carrie Underwood.  It’s a creative twist on some of the more popular songs sung by women in recent country music history. 

Of course, it’s not the most unique idea for a song, having been done numerous times in the recent past.  Nevertheless, her vocal delivery is impressive and her performance on this track will certainly lead the listener to yearn for more.

The Livingstone, TX native put her name on the country music map during her appearance on American Idol in 2019.  Following her run on the show, she moved to Nashville and signed with Big Machine Label Group, offering an eight-song release this August.
