COLE SWINDELL - Forever To Me - Warner Music Nashville

By now, most country music fans have heard the story of how Cole Swindell became the multiple-platinum-selling superstar that he is today.  He started as a songwriter, working the rounds and honing his craft, penning some of top-hits for country stars.  Then, he emerged into the recording artist realm and seemingly has never looked back.  The ACM Award-winner has tallied a successful string of hit singles and has sold out shows across the country for years.

But behind the lights and stardom, the sophisticatedly talented songwriter still resides, and in moments like this, we realize just how much he still has to offer with his penmanship and musicianship.  Cole’s brand-new single, “Forever To Me”, is available digitally and on all streaming platforms now.

Written by Swindell along with Greylan James and Rocky Block, the single, which began impacting radio on April 15, is an emotionally-charged anthem of love, an ode to finding the person you were meant to be with and the promise you made to that person and to yourself to honor, cherish and appreciate that person from now until forever.

As is the case with all of his music, the passion, honesty, and vulnerability of “Forever To Me” is taken directly from Cole’s experiences in his own life.  Written from the mindset of exactly where he is currently in in his life, this is a love poem set to a beautiful backdrop of a modern country vibe.

“To be living in a moment and get to write about it, I don’t think it can ever get more real than that.  And one of the reasons I love songwriting and country music,” Swindell said.  “This is one I think a lot of folks can relate to in some way – either what you dream about one day or what it is like to finally find your forever”

The lyrics are touching and the melodies flow gracefully behind the Georgia native’s trademark vocal bravado, showcasing his power, control, and sensitivity simultaneously.

“She gave me eighteen summers to Carolina

Spent a few more wild and free

Gave a long shot chance to a Georgia boy in Tennessee

I gave a promise to her daddy

And a grass stain to my knee

I mighta gave her the diamond, but she gave forever to me”

Released via Warner Music Nashville, “Forever To Me” follows the tear-jerking “3 Feet Tall”, as well as his Top 10 single “Drinkaby”.  His fourth studio album, ‘Stereotype’, featured three Platinum-certified, multi-week No. 1 singles, including “Never Say Never” featuring Lainey Wilson, “Single Saturday Night”, and “She Had Me At Heads Carolina”.

Following a successful headlining trek in 2023, Cole will hit the road again this spring on his WIN THE NIGHT TOUR, kicking off May 16th and hitting markets across the U.S. through mid-July.
