MCA Nashville recording artist Kip Moore has re-released a track from nearly a decade back in his catalogue and will be sure to find renewed success with fans and critics alike.

The original version of “Crazy One More Time” is a deep cut from nearly 10 years ago, when it appeared on his debut album, ‘Up All Night’.  Written by Moore along with Aimee Mayo and Chris Lindsey, the song has been a fan favorite since the album was released.

Moore had released four singles off of ‘Up All Night’, including the No. 1 hit “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck” as well as “Hey Pretty Girl”, but by the time it was time for a potential next single, he had already been touring for nearly 3 years and a second album, which would be titled ‘Wild Ones’, was already written.  He and the label decided to move forward with album number two, and thus, “Crazy One More Time” was never released as a single.

Kip has shared that the response to that song from the beginning has been overwhelming:

“I would say 95% of fans that came through my VIP or meet-and-greet line, they said it was their favorite song”.

So a decade later, he decided to re-cut the track, adding a bit more grit and edge to an already incredibly passionate offering, with the lyrics still cutting straight to the heart of the listener, just as they did the first time we heard them 10 years ago.

I guess I’ll always have this longing in my heart,

And you’ll have a piece of me

But tonight, there’s a fire to start in our red, burning hearts

And you’re all that I’ll ever need

Fans can catch Kip Moore on tour beginning in February through April at dates across the country as well as a few in the UK and Ireland.  More tour dates and details are expected to be announced as we move through the first quarter of 2022.
