Country music megastar Kenny Chesney is gearing up for his long awaited and highly anticipated 2022 Here And Now stadium tour this summer, and the release of his latest single, “Everyone She Knows”, continues to build momentum on what is promising to be a special year for the East Tennessee native.

“Everyone She Knows” is classic Chesney and what we have all come to know and love and his music – it’s catchy, melodic, tells a detailed story of someone to which we can all relate.  The song tells the tale of a woman who is the stages of womanhood that society has scripted for her, and as she looks around at those around her, she is contemplating what she wants to be doing versus what she should be doing.

“I love this woman”, Chesney says.  “She’s found a life that works for her, and it’s maybe not what her friends are doing, but it works for her.  There’s this idea that you get married, settle down and your life is made; but the woman in “Everyone She Knows” is still out there, living life on her own terms, chasing her dreams and trying to balance that with what people seem to expect.”

Written by Shane McAnally, Ross Copperman and Josh Osborne, the tune falls in line with Chesney’s catalogued hits that center around the strong, free spirited, independent women.  From “Wild Child” and “There Goes My Life” to “Anything But Mine” and “Boston”, some of Kenny’s biggest successes over the years have told story, in one form or another, of the self-directed woman.

She goes out on Saturday night

She comes home late, she don’t have to fight

And she thinks, ‘Ain’t got it all, but I got it alright’

And for a minute she’s glad that she ain’t like

Everyone she knows

This song comes fresh off Kenny’s 34th career No. 1 tune, “Knowing You”, an ode to the love who got away.  Throughout the continuous evolution of country music over the past 25 years, the eight-time Entertainer of the Year continues to not only remain relevant but stays atop the charts with every release.

Chesney’s Here And Now tour promises to be the biggest trek of the spring/summer, kicking off on April 23 with a monster lineup that includes Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, and Carly Pearce.
