Up and coming singer-songwriter Andrea Vazquez’s latest single, “Made Me Cry”, offers an empowering perspective on a familiar topic. The song narrates the strength and tenacity that can arise in the aftermath of a toxic relationship. The sultry yet somber melody gracefully accompanies Andrea’s powerful vocal delivery, resulting in an uplifting and motivating display of self-awareness and confidence.

Co-written by Andrea along with David Espinoza and Nina Soro and produced by Jason Bobo, the song serves as a follow up to her last singles, “Bed You Made” and “Used To”.

The Virginia native may be petite in size, but she is vibrant and powerful in her musical passion and vocal ability, gaining solid momentum on Spotify playlists as well as catching the attention of CMT as well as “Today In Nashville”.  Her debut single, “Sugar Coat”, tallied well over 100,000 streams on Spotify, while her second release, “Runnin’ Wild”, was selected for placement on the music platform’s New Music Nashville playlist.

“Made Me Cry” is the latest representation of Vasquez’s unique style and sound, unifying her love and admiration for modern country music with her Latin-American roots to offer a fresh take on the ever-changing genre.  n today’s music society, artists need to check a seemingly insurmountable number of boxes to find tread and momentum towards a long-lasting career. With an undeniable stage presence, songwriting ingenuity, and powerful vocal ability, Andrea Vasquez has the tools to make a name for herself in country music and beyond.
