ERIC CHURCH
"Doing Life With Me"
EMI Records Nashville
Country music superstar Eric Church’s “Doing Life With Me” is a musical “thank you” to those who have been by his side supporting him from the beginning, through the good times and bad. And while it is an appreciative ode to all friends, family, and supporters, the primary directive is to his wife, to whom he attributes much of his success.
Eric co-wrote the song along with Casey Beathard and Jeffrey Steele, and it is a classic Church tune – it’s a true account from one of the most talented singer-songwriters in music today.
“Coulda easily said goodbye to
This runaway train you’re tied to
You know I don’t get it
Baby how you roll with it
The fists and the fights and the scars of the battle
The ups and the downs of the judge’s gavel
How’d you wind up in my unravel”
His musicianship is at the top of its game, a poet with a guitar crooning his way to the top of the charts with every release, and this seemingly will follow suit.
Following “Heart On Fire”, this song is the first official single from his ‘&’ album, which was released exclusively to his Church Choir fan club members as part of his ‘Heart & Soul’ triple album.
Fans hoping to catch Eric on the road won’t have a lot of opportunities, as his summer schedule is rather light outside of a handful of the country’s biggest festivals.
