Her official store lists “Happy For Myself” as the eighth track on the 16-song album. The project also features Riley Green, Dan Tyminski and Molly Tuttle, with Pearce co-producing alongside longtime collaborator Ben West.

What Pearce understands here is that life's milestones rarely arrive on a synchronized schedule. Country music has explored that idea countless times, but “Happy For Myself” approaches it from a more complicated angle. The song isn't about learning to stop wanting. It is about admitting that you can be sincerely grateful for someone else's happiness while still wondering when your own chapter will begin.

That honesty is where Pearce's performance becomes especially powerful. She doesn't solve the contradiction; she gives it room. The result is a song that feels personal without becoming insular, because its specificity makes the emotion easier—not harder—for listeners to recognize.
