Wow, now this is a wedding present!

Oregon City, OR native Hailey Verhaalen released her latest single, “Words In My Mouth”, one day before her wedding on July 1^st as a tribute to her future husband.

Prior to meeting her now-husband, Hailey had always felt more ease writing sad and/or sassy songs over the heartfelt love lyrics.  However, that all changed when she found love in her personal life, opening her heart to a whole new realm of emotion and feelings.

The result is a wonderfully honest, candid, and emotionally vulnerable offering of an authentic promise of love delivered beautifully through impeccably crafted notes and lyrics.

Hailey co-wrote the song with Kelly Seidel and Kasey Tyndall, encapsulating the inescapably life-changing account of how that special someone enables you to feel emotions and feelings you have never felt before.

One of the biggest compliments that can be bestowed upon Verhaaalen as an artist is her ability to tell you a story with nothing more than a guitar and her voice.  When she sings, you listen.  She has the uncanny capability to immediately capture your attention from the first strum of the guitar and the initial utter of her beautiful vocal delivery.

While sharing the stage with a wide range of artists including Deana Carter, Love and Theft, and Colt Ford she has been regularly playing some of the most notorious venues in Nashville from The Bluebird Café to The Listening Room and Song Suffragettes.

Ever since introducing herself to a national audience on her appearance on American Idol and making the move from Oregon to Nashville, Hailey has been playing the songwriters rounds, writing and singing around town, and making a name for herself among peers, critics, and fans based ultimately, but now exclusively, on her undeniable musical talent.
