Promising up-and-coming country artist Bree Jaxson has independently released her single, “Two Way Street”, available now on all digital streaming platforms.

Jaxson is the sole writer of the tune, which was produced by Daniel Ford.  The song tells the story of coming to terms with a one-sided relationship which meant more to one person than the other.  It’s about putting everything you have into a relationship, only to realize that the other person is not putting forth the same effort.  Realizing your self-worth and what you bring to the relationship comes to the forefront in this internally-prominent song of self-assurance and emotional resurgence.

Bree’s ability to deliver the perfect amount of intimate emotion through her vocals seems effortless, and it is one of the elements that puts this song over the top.  Breakup songs are very common in all music, especially country music, and so it takes the inimitable bond between an unprecedented bond of music elaboration and lyrical sentiment to set yourself apart from the rest.

She is able to show vulnerability and bravery by acknowledging the pain and heartache she suffers because of a love-gone-bad, while also exhibiting strength by realizing the relationship is over and knowing when to walk away.  Her vocals initiate the intimacy that resonates with the listener, creating that musical connection that we all long for when we hear tunes of emotion. 

“Two Way Street” is a song you need to hear and Bree Jaxson is an artist you need to know.

In addition to her independent career as a talented rising singer-songwriter, the Baltimore, MD native is currently deployed to the United States Mexican border with the United States Air Force.  Incredibly, while at the border, she continues to make music while serving her country.

Bree has released two singles from her upcoming EP, “Make Me Hate You” and “Country Heart City Roots.”  Both were featured on the American Country Music Awards (ACM) Spotify playlist.
