Emerging singer-songwriter Ashely Cooke continues to ride the momentum as one of the bright new faces in country music with the release of her latest single, “Getting Into”.

The up-tempo tune is a tongue-in-cheek warning to a future lover about her tendencies and relationship quirks when it comes to romance.  It’s a sassy song from start to finish, initializing the head-bobbing melody with simple yet cleverly drawn lyrics that are easy to learn and fun to sing.

Before you get into my car

My bed, my heart, my head

Know what you’re getting into

This is a confident, auto-biographical account of who Ashley Cooke is as a person and what a future lover can expect from her in a relationship.  And while it is an acknowledgement of the quirks and “flaws” as seen by some, it is also an unapologetic cautionary tale – If you can’t handle it, don’t waste my time.

The Belmont University graduate was musically influenced by the likes of Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, and Florida Georgia Line, and her own music reflects elements of each of those artists into a diversified sound that is all her own.

Since her debut project, ‘Already Drank That Beer’, was released in August 2021, Cooke’s musical horizons have broadened as she continues to work and collaborate with the industry’s finest songwriters and producers, and as she unveils selections from her musical catalogue, the country music masses continue to realize what a bright young star is blossoming before our eyes.

Cooke was formally introduced to, and immediately impressed, country music fans everywhere, following the release of “Never Til Now” with Brett Young.  The song was the first for Cooke on country radio, and is set to be followed by her appearance on Cole Swindell’s “Down To The Bar” Tour, kicking off on September 23 and traveling across the country this fall.
