MCA Nashville’s Parker McCollum is back with his latest single, “Handle On You”, available everywhere now.  Nationally recognized as one of country music’s brightest young stars, McCollum’s newest release is sure to continue the momentum he has built in the nearly three years he has been making waves in Music City.

“Handle On You” is a somber tune about the effects a doomed relationship can have on us and how we struggle as we attempt to cope.

In his still-young career, Parker has already made a name for himself by penning songs of heartbreak and drinking and how the two often coincide in his mind and in his experience.  The relatability and unapologetic truth behind his songs have made him a virtual overnight success since his mainstream introduction to the country music masses.

“Handle On You” continues that trend – it’s an upbeat, catchy sing-along track, but it touches a subject that is near and dear to all or hearts and minds, and something we have all experienced at one point or another in our lives.

I keep on sippin’ til “I miss you” don’t roll off my tongue

Since you poured our love down the sink

I think I’ll just stay here and drink

I tell myself I should quit but I don’t listen to drunks

Since his debut EP, ‘Hollywood Gold’, instantly made headlines in 2020 and achieved two top singles, “Pretty Heart” and “To Be Loved By You”, Parker has made his Grand Ole Opry debut and earned his first ACM Award for New Male Artist of the Year as well as his first CMT Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year.

McCollum has been on the road this summer, gaining new fans by the day.  He is currently on the road with Thomas Rhett on his “Bring The Bar To You” tour, while also intertwining headlining gigs along the way through the end of October.
