MEGAN MORONEY - "The Best of Both Worlds" - Sony Music Entertainment

Released as part of the celebration surrounding the Hannah Montana 20th anniversary, Megan Moroney’s cover of “The Best Of Both Worlds” offers a nostalgic, pop-country tribute to the theme song of one of the most popular shows of the last 20 years.
Using a joyful, upbeat approach, the tune preserves the essence of the original while showcasing Megan’s vocal style from start to finish.
The “ultimate hype track” serves as a full circle moment from Morney, who is a self-proclaimed fan of the show (and the song) and has played the original version before her shows for years.
Only a few years after making her debut, Moroney has ascended into super stardom. The multi-platinum hitmaker, singer-songwriter, and headlining songstress released her third studio album, ‘Cloud 9’, on February 20th, serving as a follow up to her 2024 album ‘Am I Okay?’ and her 2023 debut ‘Lucky’.
Her first record featured the 4X platinum No. 1 hit “Tennessee Orange” while her sophomore effort included the platinum smash “No Caller ID”.
Now, in the midst of global hype surrounding ‘Cloud 9’, Moroney teamed up with Spotify Singles for a song of “The Best Of Both Worlds”.
“I started watching and listening to Hannah Montana at a young age,” Megan said. “So I think just her confidence…She was bubbly and funny. I think that definitely wore off on me. I didn’t grow up and like, want to be a princess. I wanted to grow up and be Hannah Montana.”
Moroney’s cover is out now, and Spotify has also updated its after school club playlist to include the song, plus Hannah Montana’s top tracks and a new playlist cover. Hannah Montana, which stars Cyrus as a regular teenager who lives a double life as a pop superstar, aired on Disney Channel for four seasons from 2006 to 2011.
