With less than a month away from releasing his brand-new fifth studio album, Adam Hood has offered fans a new single, “Livin’ Don’t Give A Damn”.  The new tune is available on all streaming platforms now.

Co-written by Hood along with Rob Snyder, the song sounds like it was written and recorded on a bar stool in honky-tonk….and that’s a good thing!  This is as true, soulful, and authentic as an old-school country song can get, and is something we expect nothing less from at this point in Hood’s career.

The song immediately takes the listener on the head-bobbing, toe-tapping ride that this accomplished singer-songwriter has taken his fans on for years.  His vocals are strong and poignant as ever, and the melody effortlessly collaborates with the lyrics, meeting the mood and vibe to paint a picture upon the first few seconds of the track.

“I can waste time on a five-year plan

Build myself a house on desert sand

I’d rather put the day in the good Lord’s hands because

This livin’ don’t give a damn”

Adam has long been admired as a songwriter as well, with credentials aplenty on songs recorded by the likes of Cody Jinks, Travis Tritt, and Luke Combs, among many others.  The incredibly catchy hook of “Livin’ Don’t Give A Damn” is undeniable, and his storytelling ability makes this track a fan favorite for those of the 90’s retro era all the way through today.

Hood will release his fifth studio album, ‘Bad Days Better’, on September 16^th via his independent label, Southern Songs.  Three singles have been released from the forthcoming project, including “Harder Stuff” featuring Miranda Lambert, which peaked at No. 12 on the Americana Singles chart.
