Following up his chart-topping hit “Damn Strait”, Scotty McCreery has released his brand-new single, “It Matters To Her”, via Thirty Tigers.

Written by McCreery along with Lee Miller and Rhett Akins, the song is a self-proclaimed profession of everything he has learned in his first four years of being a husband.  In a world and a life highlighted by big moments and life events, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.

Oh, it matters to her”

Scotty has shared that he drew inspiration for the song from Brooks & Dunn, one of his favorite acts growing up and still remains true today.  It is one of those songs that instantly draws the listener in, encouraging sing-along moments even before you know the words. 

Having been in the industry for years, McCreery has certainly found his niche within country music, with each of his singles achieving success with fans.  His signature vocals deliver throwback, “hometown boy” lyrics cleverly tip-toeing the line between traditional and modern elements of the genre.  The result if consistent success across the ever-growing fan-base that continues to evolve with the music.

“It Matters To Her” follows “Damn Strait” which is one of five consecutive No. 1 songs.  Both tunes appear on the ‘Same Truck’ album, released in September 2021, and also features another chart-topper “You Time”.  Fans can catch Scotty at select dates throughout the fall and into the winter at dates across the country.
