Country music songstress Karen Waldrup has released a new tune, “All-American Mistake”, accompanying the offering of her new seven song EP, Kendall County Road.

Written by Marcus Hummon and Stephanie Chapman and produced by Paul Worley and Biff Watson, “All-American Mistake” is an undeniably heart-wrenching and emotional tale of pain, sorrow, vulnerability, and inspiration.  This song is beautifully and impactfully written, immediately taking the listener right into the story, painting a picture that will remain in the heart and mind long after the final note.

Touching on an all-too-common storyline, “All-American Mistake” is one of those special songs that can bring tears to your eyes and goosebumps to your skin while igniting a full range of emotions from sympathy to anger to admiration and respect. 

And as well as this song is written, it may even be better sung and performed.  Waldrup is unstoppable with her vocal delivery, fully encapsulating herself in the song’s story while perfectly adopting the vunerability and raw emotion necessary to push the impact into another stratosphere.

Having been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine as well as CMT and Fox, Karen long-ago made a name for herself as a fast-rising artist to keep an eye on, relentlessly writing, performing, and collaborating.  With a devoted following and an ever-growing fanbase, the sky is the limited for this talented singer-songwriter.
