Independent country music artist Andrea Vasquez released her latest single, “Never Into Me”, on September 30th, during National Hispanic Heritage Month.

The Latin-infused singer-songwriter has been making a name for herself on the underground music circuit since the release of her earlier two singles, “Reverse” and “Made Me Cry”.

“Never Into Me” was written by Vasquez along with Jessica Hawkes, originated after a night of venting with friends and sharing stories of bad dates and unfortunate luck when it comes to relationships.

Those conversations spawned the thought behind the tune, as Andrea shares:

“Through the trials of modern dating and pressure to ‘keep it casual’, there is an impending feeling that you’ll eventually have to get over someone who was never even into you.  The concept was fun and playful and I think it’ll be a fun anthem for others to relate to”.

As has been the case with previous releases, “Never Into Me” showcases Andrea’s unique sound and musical approach, which has been crafted since her early years, influenced by the likes of Carrie Underwood, Shania Twain, and The Chicks.  The ability to use fragments and elements of each style to hone her own her own sound is what makes her career so promising.

The California native may be petite in size, but she is vibrant and powerful in her musical passion and vocal ability, gaining solid momentum on Spotify playlists as well as catching the attention of CMT as well as “Today in Nashville”.  Her debut single, “Sugar Coat”, tallied well over 100,000 streams on Spotify, while her second release, “Runnin’ Wild”, was selected for placement on the music platform’s New Music Nashville playlist.  The releases of “Made Me Cry” and “Reverse” have only further ignited the excitement surrounding this incredibly promising young singer-songwriter.
