Country crooner Johnny Day continues to make a name for himself in Music City and beyond with the offering of his latest single, “All The Good Ones Do”.  Released via Black Mountain Entertainment, the song is an ode to the good things in life that make all the difference.

The first verse introduces us to what a good dive bar is and what a good song is, and it is not until the embarking into the chorus do we understand the clear message is the appreciation of having love in your life.

The music is rather subdued in the opening, slowly and gradually building momentum throughout with the impactful and emotional vibrancy in Day’s vocal delivery setting the tone for the emphasis and passion behind love, relationships, and gratitude.  It’s a solid release, one that will continue the trend of Johnny’s uprising withing the confines of the country singer-songwriter talent pool.

There are certainly elements of rock, pop, and even a little blues intertwined in the background, but country music is properly at the forefront of this tune, which has been the case for all of his past releases.  Throughout this song as well as all of his music to this point, one can hear and understand the elements of some of his biggest influences from Brad Paisley to Keith Urban to even Shania Twain.  It takes a special talent to be able to mold pieces of that musical variety to one’s own sound, and that is just want Johnny Day has done.

Written by Liz Rose, Jordan Reynolds, and Corey Crowder, “All The Good Ones” is the latest release in a string of impressive singles by the Kersey, CO native.  His most recent single, “Every Beer, Every Bar” with Zack Dyer put him on the map for even the most casual fans of country music.

Known as not only a talented singer and songwriter, but also a gifted guitar player, he has spent years honing his craft since his move from Colorado to Nashville.  He seems primed and ready to take his music and career to the next level, and with future releases like “All The Good Ones Do”, it’ll be no time before we start seeing Johnny Day’s name in lights.
