U.S. Marine veteran Adam Warner is set to release his forthcoming new album, ‘What We’re Known For’, on December 16 via Sunday Supper Records and The Orchard.  The momentum continues to build leading up to the record’s release thanks in large part to the success and quality of the songs being offered to fans over the past few months, continuing with his latest, “Split A Beer”.

During the course of his aspiring run as an up-and-coming singer-songwriter on the country music circuit, Warner has offered modern tunes featuring melodies influenced by southern outlaw vibes, including “Reason to Redneck” and “Catchin’ Hell”, to name a couple.  His latest offering, however, represents a stark contrast from this musical approach, and it opens the doors to a whole new potential while opening the eyes of his fans as well as the rest of country music.

“Split A Beer” is a ballad, demonstrating Adam’s ability to approach the songwriting process from a more delicate, emotional perspective.  The song is an ode to remembering those who have passed away, and the thoughts and feelings he is able to convey to and derive from the listener through lyrics and his vocal delivery put him on another level to which we had not previously been exposed.

The song hits home personally and emotionally for Warner, himself, who reflects on his longing to have one more beer with his grandfather, Fred.

“As we sat in my grandpa’s house and it rolled around to the afternoon, I said to them as I looked at his chair, this was the time of day where Freddie and I would “Split A Beer”, and the rest is history”, Warner recalls.

Throughout the majority of his releases to this point, Warner has displayed his small-town swagger to the country music scene, showcasing his rowdy vibrato while his autobiographical lyrics serve as a reflection of how he lives his life.  “Split A Beer”, while coming from a more sentimental, emotional perspective, is still 100% true to who he is as a person and an artist.  This latest release will undoubtedly earn him new fans while also ensuring the overwhelming approval of his existing following.  As for us critics…well, we can’t wait to hear what he has in store for us next!
