Following the high praise and commercial success of his solo debut single, “5 ft 9”, Tyler Hubbard has officially released his second single to country radio.  “Dancin’ In The Country”, written by Hubbard along with Ross Copperman, Jon Nite, and Keith Urban, is available everywhere now via EMI Nashville.

This is a self-proclaimed fun, up-tempo, pop-country song influenced by after-dinner dance parties in the Hubbard household.  There is a time and a place for music to take the listener to places of grief, anger, sadness, and everywhere in between.  And then there are times when music should take one to joy, laughter, excitement, and ease.  “Dancin’ in the Country” is a fun-loving song about letting go, having fun, and just enjoying the moment.

“I’ll take you dancin’ in the country

Levi’s in them low beams

Spin you in some red dirt

Sweep you off of both feet

Out here where the sun sets

Silverado backbeat

You’ll never wanna go home

And never wanna not be

Dancin’ in the country”

Due partially to Hubbard’s wildly popular success with Florida Georgia Line, his tenure as an accomplished songwriter has somewhat flown under the radar for mainstream country music fans.  He has written cuts for the likes of Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Little Big Town, and Thomas Rhett, among others, and he worked with some of the most prominent in the business for his upcoming debut solo record, including Copperman, Nite, and Rhett Akins.

Having penned seven No. 1 hits for FGL, Tyler looks to be continuing the trend of working with some of the most prominent songwriters in the industry to put out catchy, popular tunes as a solo artist just as a he did as a member of the Platinum-selling duo.

Fans can expect more news coming from Hubbard, as his debut solo album will be available everywhere on January 27, 2023 with anticipated tour dates and future single releases expected as well.
