Country music star Dustin Lynch is releasing his latest single, “Stars Like Confetti”.  Written by Thomas Rhett, Josh Thompson, and Zach Crowell, this is a tune with live energy at its core.  The lyrics tell the tale of a night under the stars with that special someone, while the melody is sure to get stuck in your head upon the first listen.

“Oh, I don’t remember what the radio was playin’

I was hangin’ like the moon on all the words your lips were sayin’

All I know is there was magic in that Chevy

Baby, you were glowin’, God was throwin’

Stars like confetti”

There is nothing essentially groundbreaking from a subject-matter standpoint about “Stars Like Confetti”, but the lyrics, which have become a trademark of Rhett over the years, paint a perfect picture of the affection we can feel and the emotions we endure when we fall in love with that special someone.  Lynch’s vocals are on point, perfectly blending with the musical vibe of the track, which falls nothing short of a sure-to-be radio hit.

Over the years, Lynch has taken us on a musical journey through his single choices across his multiple-album catalogue, and he has succeeded in virtually every facet.  He has achieved critical acclaim, fan praise, and industry respect as a singer-songwriter of party anthems, emotional ballads, and down-home accounts of country ways of life.

As we turn the calendar to 2023, Lynch continues to escalate his reputation as one of the biggest modern country stars on the circuit.  His fifth studio album, Blue In The Sky, has been highly acclaimed by critics and fans alike for months, while his headlining “Party Mode” tour from 2022 was one of the hottest tickets of the spring, summer, and fall.  His appearance on Luke Bryan’s “Crash My Playa 2023” this month will be followed by his support run with Kane Brown on his “Drunk On Dreaming Tour” in the spring.  As impressive and career-altering as 2022 was for Dustin, 2023 is already looking like it may surpass its predecessor.
