Country music breakthrough singer-songwriter superstar ERNEST is capping off a remarkable 2022 with the release of his new single, “Miss That Girl”, available everywhere via Big Loud Records.

The tune, marking the first drop of writes from his recent recordings, finds ERNEST recalling and admitting to his self-destructing words, decisions, and actions, at the consequences those impulses had on a relationship that he values more in the present than he did in the past.

The song is a poem set to music, with the clever, simple beat-influenced melody immediately catching the listener’s ear, while the lyrics perfectly embody the emotions felt when reminiscing about a relationship’s ending.  ERNEST is an unapologetic crooner, and his songs, whether recorded by others or by himself, resonate with fans, fellow artists, and industry reps alike.  “Miss That Girl” is no different, and the results, from critics to sales and streams, will reflect the industry approval across all facets.

“It’s been awhile since I’ve seen that smile

Finally to the point I don’t think about her anymore

Well, I’m such a liar ‘cause I can’t put out that fire

So I grab a lighter, roll the windows down, and drive”

“Miss That Girl” puts an exclamation point on an incredible year for ERNEST.  His critically acclaimed debut full-length album, ‘Flower Shops’ was released in March, which was followed by his debut single, the disc’s title track, achieving RIAA platinum certification.  While tallying his fifth, sixth, and seventh #1 singles as a songwriter, he also hit the road with Morgan Wallen on the record-breaking Dangerous Tour as well.

2023 promises to be another incredible year for the acclaimed singer-songwriter, who is set to release his deluxe album ‘FLOWER SHOPS (THE ALBUM): Two Dozen Roses’, on February 10th
