Since releasing his first single in 2010, Chris Janson has released three full length albums, graced the country music charts over 10 times, and has penned tunes for some of the biggest stars in country music, all while garnering the reputation as one of the hardest-working acts and most entertaining live performers in the genre.

Over the course of his impressive career to this point, the Perryville, MO native has continued to evolve as a songwriter, singer and performer. From the fun-loving and care-free “Buy Me A Boat” and “Fix a Drink” to the subdued ballads “Drunk Girl” and “Bye Mom”, Janson has proven himself as a multi-faceted artist with a lot to the offer the genre as a diversified songwriter.

Chris continues the trend of exploring the boundaries of his catalogue with his latest single, “All I Need Is You”, available everywhere now.  Co-written with Ashley Gorley, Brad Clawson, and Mitch Oglesby, Janson speaks from the heart about what really matters in life.  Clearly surpassing the likes of a brand-new truck and a winning lottery ticket is the love of his wife.

Simply put, this is a love song written by a country boy for the love of his life.  Chris’s wife is also his manager, and they have spent countless days and nights on the road together.  And over the years, despite all of the changes they’ve experienced, from his career and moving to Nashville to their children’s births, nothing has impacted his feelings for her.  And still to this day, as he proclaims throughout the tune, all he needs is her.

“You in the morning, you in the night

You every day for the rest of my life

You and me together til’ the day I die

I’m all yours if you’re all mine

Baby, you’re all mine”

Janson’s voice is impressive as always, delivering the beautifully poetic lyrics through his trademark down-to-earth vocal demeanor.

The song features an all star class of musicians and collaborators, while also having been co-produced by Scott Borchetta.  The result is a top-notch release which has become somewhat of an expectation at this point for Janson.  Fans will have plenty of opportunities to catch “The Human Hummingbird” in concert this year, as he currently has dozens of dates slated from now through the summer.
