With a strong foundation of die-hard fans that they’ve built through incredibly energetic live shows and the impact of their charting single “All Trucks Go To Heaven,” BoomTown Saints have a tremendous amount of buzz swirling around them that’s making them one to watch in 2023.

Not wanting to make their fans wait until the end of March for their next official radio single, “Blacktop Don’t,” Chris Ramos and Ben Chism are gifting their fans with a digital release to hold them over, “Dive Bar Heart.”

The song, written by Benjy Davis, Ryan Beaver, and Ashley Ray, brings us straight to that comfortable, down-home spot that we all have in our local watering holes, painting perfect visions that have us picturing our own places while introducing us to the familiar type of people that call the barstool home on a Tuesday night.

The softer paced groove through the intro sets the feel-good vibe in motion with a clap along style that immediately pulls you into the song with your head bobbing in rhythm with the melody as the scene begins to unfold.

Introducing us to a chain smoking, female patron who’s reflecting on the wasted time she’s spent out in Arizona, before lamenting that as the parking lots filling up, “it’s good to know I ain't the only one," immediately tells us that this is a place to go that will non-judgmentally wrap an embrace around you while you’re escaping from the inevitable struggles that life naturally presents.

By vaguely brushing the paint across the picture and not spelling out every single one of the details, but instead, simply stating that everyone has a story and a few scars to talk about, BoomTown Saints have expertly allowed us to insert our own stories into the song, giving it a very solid connection factor with the listening audience.

The sway along melody of the chorus gives this song a perfect excuse to be a summertime smash, both with radio and on the road, while the transparent honesty through the lines in the bridge, “some days you think you got the answers, some days you find yourself in here,” hold open the door and invite you to step inside their dive bar with them and let your troubles fly free.

BoomTown Saints continue to be on a tremendous roll with “All Trucks Go To Heaven,” and now with the release of “Dive Bar Heart” they’ll not only continue to whet the whistle of their exuberant fanbase, but they’ll also bring in a whole new crop of loyal followers because who can’t relate to a place like this?
