Renowned country singer-songwriter Adam Hood has released his latest single, “You Love Me Like That”, available on all streaming platforms now.

The tune, released just in time for Valentine’s Day, was penned back in 2016 with fellow singer-songwriter Sean McConnell and is inspired by Adam’s longtime wife, Britni.

Simply put, this song is an honest, true, straightforward love song about that special person in one’s life.  Hood has long become known for his simplistic approach to songwriting, and “You Love Me Like That” is the epitome of why he has garnered the reputation as one of the more relatable and down-to-earth songwriters today.

“I just want a love that’s strong and true

One soul in the world that knows what I’ve been through

Each time I look over my shoulder, I know that someone’s got my back

And you love me like that”

While Adam writes from the heart about thoughts, emotions and situations that are deeply personal to him, they resonate so much within him that he easily makes them connect with his listeners.  That is a trait of a true artist, one that is able to effectively articulate one’s own feelings and communicate them through music to have an emotional impact on others who hear it.  Adam Hood has been doing just that for years, and that trend continues with this latest release.

In addition to his talents as a singer and performer, Adam has long been admired as a songwriter as well, with credentials aplenty on songs recorded by the likes of Cody Jinks, Travit Tritt, and Luke Combs.

He is still flying high following the release of his sixth studio album, ‘Bad Days Better’ from late 2022, and also from the single “Harder Stuff” (featuring Miranda Lambert). ‘Bad Days Better” is widely regarded as the singer-songwriter’s best collection of music to date.  Having made his Grand Ole Opry debut in October 2022 to an incredible response, he will be returning to the historic venue on February 24th before hitting the road for a string of dates through the spring and into the summer.
