Appreciating life’s big and small moments and living in the present take center stage on the latest release from Tenille Arts.

“Last Time Last”, featuring country duo Maddie & Tae, is available on all streaming platforms now.

While this tune features the award-winning duo, however, make no mistake – this song encompasses Tenille’s signature sound to its core.

Written by Arts along with Alex Kline, Alison Veltz Cruz and Trannie Anderson, this is a nostalgic approach to growing up and not knowing when the last time will be that you played a certain game, saw a certain person, or made a last memory.

The song serves as gentle yet stark reminder to never waste a moment and to cherish all that you can, even if, at the time, it doesn’t seem like something you may want to remember.  The times, experience, and memories, both good and bad, make us who we are as we grow up and mature, and they are important for us to acknowledge and appreciate.

“Even when it ain’t all glitter

Take a mental picture

Don’t blink don’t miss it

When you’re really living”

The song is irrevocably relatable for everyone who hears it, regardless of background or perspective.  It’s a thought-provoking, emotion-drawing, bittersweet escape for the listener, who is treated to the luxury of a perfect blend of melodies, softly subtle guitar riffs, and beautifully delivered poetic lyrics.

Arts is in her prime on this tune, singing from the heart and showing off her impressive vocal range and flexibility.  Maddie & Tae add the icing on the cake with their deceptively gorgeous vocal power and accompaniment to truly put this song over the top.

This is a monumental song for Tenille unquestionably.  Not only does it follow her ridiculously successful release, “Jealous of Myself”, but also it is a collaboration with an award winning duo that is a self-proclaimed milestone moment for Arts.  “Last Time Last” is a perfect illustration of Tenille’s signature sound and approach to songs, and it will met with incredible and well-deserved success.
