Following the release of “Man Of The House”, a thought-provoking and emotionally-vulnerable tune that has been widely regarded as one of the more therapeutic offerings as of late, Corey Kent is back again making waves on the country music industry.

“Better Now”, Kent’s rendition of Post Malone’s tune, is available on all streaming platforms now.

For anyone who has not heard the original version, this song represents a large challenge to make your own.  Corey, though, has excelled with this rendition, paying homage and respect to the original while putting his own unique spin on the tune.

His vocals are at the forefront here, blending beautifully alongside the instrumental arrangement, showcasing his true artistry from the production all the way through delivery.

The lyrics are noteworthy across all genres, influences and disciplines, and fans, particularly those that are not familiar with the original release, will focus on their relatability and down-to-earth nature.

“You prolly think that you are better now

You only say that ‘cause I’m not around

You know I never meant to let you down

Woulda gave you everything”

This is a shrinking list of people as the days, weeks and months continue, but there are those who are still learning about Corey Kent.  He first introduced himself to the mainstream country music world with the release of “Wild As Her”, which has tallied over 184 million on-demand streams to date and has been certified RIAA Gold.  The song also served as his first on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching number 15 on the Hot Country Songs chart and is currently spinning and impacting successfully at country radio.

In addition to consistently putting out highly touted music and gaining new fans by the day, Kent is also going to be a very busy guy on the road, playing headlining gigs while also serving as support on Jason Aldean’s nationwide tour.  With dates scheduled from now through the end of the summer and into the fall, Corey will continue to his already impressive climb up the ladder of mainstream country music notoriety.
