Greendale, WI native Brian Goyette is taking the next step in achieving his country music dreams with the release of his new single, “Radio Made Us”, available on all streaming platforms now.

Goyette introduced the song to the audience at his January 5, 2023 show at Assembly Food Hall and Today’s Country Magazine was fortunate enough to be in attendance.  While he may be relatively new to the music world, he is a natural talent with a distinctive voice and an ear for the mainstream sound of modern country.

The independently-released track is a 100% reflection of who Goyette is as an artist.  With no industry backing, the song is an honest effort to lend itself to the ears of mainstream country radio.  It’s a friendly, comfortable listen.  The story-telling nature of the tune takes us back to the more traditional traits of early 2000’s country, while the melody, arrangement, and hooks bring us back to present-day releases. 

Brian’s voice is spot on here, and coincides beautifully alongside the smooth gliding rhythms from verse to chorus.  The lyrics are simple, down-to-earth, and relatable, perfect for a sing-along experience with the windows down and volume up while driving through a small town….like Greendale, WI.

The notion of packing up and leaving home in hopes of achieving one’s dreams through hard work and giving oneself the opportunity to have his talent discovered is not something that should be overlooked, taken for granted, or underappreciated.  It takes courage, determination, and self-belief to make that decision, and Brian Goyette is a prime example of such an individual.

After starting an Instagram page devoted to music in 2018, Brian decided to transition from hobbyist to professional and moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music in early 2020.  During the industry “shutdown” due to the COVID pandemic, Goyette used the unexpected down-time to hone his craft as a singer and songwriter. 

The result has been an impressive beginning to a promising career as a singer-songwriter.  Success is in the music industry does not come easily and is not without trials and tribulations. It requires a lot of hard work and determination, and a little luck never hurt anyone.  But Brian Goyette seems poised to make his own luck, building his fan base and notoriety with a release like “Radio Made Us”, which deserves all of our attention.
