TracieLynn has continually proven that she’s one of country music’s must watch artists, skillfully backing up that sought-after tag through the power of her hot song releases, sold-out shows, and an unbridled appetite to reach the highest plateau of success.

With her much-anticipated debut EP dropping at the end of May (2023), she now delivers the lead single from it, “Faith In You.”

Dropping out the groove heavy, hip popping style that we got from her on the country kiss-off bop “Ain’t Enough Whiskey,” “Faith In You” sees her peeling back another layer of her overall aura by leaning into a soft, mid-tempo feel that allows her the perfect amount of room to lace her vocals into the emotionally charged lyrics.

Taking us straight into the aftermath of a recent breakup where everyone is already whispering about where the couple went wrong, she runs through a quick list of the many different rumors that have started to fly before punching the chorus and encapsulating the power of her vocal as she leans into a frustrated rock edged, country brash:

“You can say that I quit and that you weren't enough

You can say that I’ve used up all of your trust

You can twist all my words ’til they're far from the truth

But you can't say that I didn't put all my faith in you”

Standing firmly on the fact that she knows she did everything she could during their relationship, she self-encourages through a looking in the mirror type fashion while reminding herself that she did her best, though a noticeable shift in her demeanor arrives when confessing, “it kills me just knowing, we can’t fix what’s broken.”

Playing off that dynamic shift in tone at the end the second verse, she then completely elevates the song to new heights in the bridge by masterfully pleading with her ex that the least he could do is say that she gave her everything; precisely pinpointing the starting point of the hurtful rumors.

With a lot of industry eyes already watching her, each song release becomes a monumental definition of the next level success TracieLynn is striving to reach. By smartly choosing the softer paced “Faith In You,” she delivers a very intriguing piece that showcases her incredible vocal prowess and pushes it to the forefront; commanding that you listen as she pours out her heart.
