We all struggle with the routine of the everyday hustle and bustle, and we often get so caught up in our to-do lists and how to accomplish our goals that we forget to slow down, pause, and appreciate the great things that are already right in front of us; especially our better half.

But then a moment arrives where they stop you in your tracks, completely sweep you off your feet, take your breath away, and make you forget about whatever your original plans were because all you want to do is have a steamy night in with them.

This is the exact spot that rising country sensations Seaforth bring us to on their brand-new release, “I Can’t Take You Anywhere.”

The song, written by Mitch Thompson and Tom Jordan (Seaforth) with Zack Dyer and Paul Overstreet, immediately surrounds you with an airy feel that perfectly sets the blissful tone as the vocals softly slide in over pulled back instrumentation that simplifies to a beat that steadies the pace, allowing the lyrics to pop as he paints the scene of his heart flutter, first singing of knowing that they had plans for a night out with dinner and dancing, and also that she spent 45 minutes curling her hair and taking mirror selfies cause it looked just right, before flipping the script to admit that he knows it’s selfish to want her all to himself as the music continually builds to its crescendo.

As the chorus then hits, the sway along with airy vibe of the instrumentation returns to strike the melody as he gushingly sings:

“I can’t take you anywhere when you’re looking like that

I know we got plans but forget 'em

I don’t really care when you zip up that dress, I drop dead

I wanna get you home before we even out the door

Wanna tell your friends we can’t make it anymore

Every time your eyes look that way

Into mine, there's one thing on my mind”

Utilizing the second verse as the music lifts to match his pining over her, he tells of what their night in together can look like instead of going out when he sings of pulling down some bottles from the top shelf while flirtatiously convincing, “we got business to attend to in the kitchen or the bedroom.”

Seaforth has already built a solid resume on the back hot releases such as “What I Get For Loving You,” “Breakups,” and their impactful radio smash with Jordan Davis, “Good Beer,” all which have worked to enhance their signature pop country aura and stellar vocals, both as individuals and when together in harmony.

Coupling their already great track record with the uber relatable swoon that they perfectly hit on with “I Can’t Take You Anywhere,” and Seaforth has just positioned themselves for their next big impact at country radio.
