After much anticipation in recent months, Bailey Zimmerman has announced the upcoming release of his full length debut.  ‘Religiously. The Album.’ will be released on May 12 via Warner Music Nashville / Elektra, and the record’s title track is available now on all platforms.

Zimmerman has found his niche in the genre, and this latest single promises to continue his escalation from exciting new artist to country star.  His creative lyrical ingenuity and raspy, weathered vocal delivery have become representative of his trademark sound, which country fans, young and old, continue to swoon over with every new release.

His ability to add drama to an already emotionally written song is incredibly well-represented here.  For such a young singer-songwriter, this is virtually unprecedented, remarkably unique, and should be appreciated.  In such a short time, barely over a year since releasing his debut single, Zimmerman has already proven himself to be one of the most talented fresh-faced singer-songwriters writers we have in country music.

Strictly from a lyrical standpoint, this is a story of love and heartbreak.  A disappointing end to a once-promising relationship has left him in emotional shambles, and he professes the thoughts and feelings running through his mind and his heart as he contemplates how to move forward and process those sentiments.

“And now I’m in the back of the church

Prayin’ just to stop the hurt

‘Cause I don’t have the only woman who was there for me

Religiously”

It has been an incredible run for the Zimmerman, who has accomplished an astounding amount of well-deserved recognition in a short time in the country music spotlight.  He was nominated for Breakthrough Male Video of the Year as well as the Male Video of the Year at the 2023 CMT Music Awards, while his two singles, “Fall In Love” and “Rock And A Hard Place”, have achieved platinum certification status.  His debut EP from 2022, ‘Leave The Light On’, is currently No. 4 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and Top 30 on the Billboard 200.

He is currently on the road with Morgan Wallen on his One Night At a Time World Tour, stretching from New Zealand and Australia and playing some of the biggest venues in the United States through the summer and into the fall.
