The new single from Crystal McGrath, “About A Boy”, is a perfect blend of traditional country with a pop influence, telling the story that is all to familiar to everyone.  Drawing comparisons to the likes of Miranda Lambert and Trisha Yearwood, McGrath illustrates the elements of country music pioneers before her while creating a sound all her own.

While introducing a reserved, almost timid delivery of the verses before erupting with powerful notes in the chorus, McGrath shows off her vocal repertoire throughout the track.  There is a mystery to this song, and to this artist, which makes them both all the more intriguing. 

Supporting Canadian country stars including George Canyon and Aaron Pritchett, Crystal McGrath has performed all over the world.  And it shows…from her ingenious songwriting to her impalpable vocal delivery, she is well rehearsed, polished, and a major force on country music landscape.

Crystal is an advocate for women’s empowerment, founding an online platform titled “Live With Love” with the goal of helping women achieve their dreams.  As for her ambitions, this songstress continues to add to her catalogue of inspired musical numbers, with more on the horizon.
