Country music superstar Eric Church is back with a brand-new track, “Heart On Fire”.  The song tells the story of the memories of young love and teenage freedom, something to which we can all relate.  Tapping into some nostalgic music legends and songs like Elvis Presley and Guns N’ Roses’ “Paradise City”, his songwriting and delivery entrance the listener, like he has done with so many other songs in his iconic past.

“That look on your face was full of wild desire

Soakin’ my soul in gasoline

And settin’ my heart on fire”

Eric was busy this spring, putting a three-disc album collectively titled ‘Heart & Soul’.  ‘Heart’ was released April 16th, followed by ‘&’ on April 20th, concluding with ‘Soul’ on April 23rd.

The release of “Heart On Fire” takes us back to early 2020 in North Carolina, when Church spent countless hours writing and recording dozens of songs, along with Jay Joyce, his longtime collaborator, as well as his touring band and Joanna Cotten.

The result is once again, a track that is 100% genuine Eric Church.  It’s a feel good, get-up-and-dance track while also offering the sentiment and heartfelt lyrical integrity we have come to expect from this hit-maker.
