With the chart-topping, platinum success of their last single “Just The Way,” Parmalee once again became the buzz group of the country music world, which has made their next album For You (releasing July 30, 2021) that much more anticipated.

On the heels of their album release date being announced, Parmalee now gives us our next taste of things to come with their new single “Take My Name.”

The catchy, pop laden melody rests inside of a mid-tempo groove that instantly gets you swaying along with it as it pulls you directly into the lyric that sings of that one-time, found the one I want to be with feeling that you get when you realize that it’s love and you want to make them part of you whole world.

The female listeners will swoon as lead singer Matt Thomas sings with a genuine heartfelt emotion through lines such as:

“Knew from the first time that I laid eyes on you.”

“I want you in it, every single part of my world.”

“Never felt like this before, take my name and make it yours.”

However, Parmalee also knows the right ways to strike a chord with the fellas as well, when it’s revealed in the second verse that while he’s the last guy that anyone would think would be talking like this about being in love, she has changed him, and he is head over heels for her – a feeling that many guys will be able to relate with.

The band themselves have stated that they’ve been writing for the past year to follow-up “Just The Way,” and with “Take My Hand” they offer a very stellar effort in doing so. The balance between the reach that this song will have couples together with a satisfying melody that is both catchy and memorable to give Parmalee a great chance at running straight up the charts again.
