JORDAN JAMES - Airplane - Eclipse Music Group

One of the most exciting aspects of country music is the promising young talent that we continue to be introduced to time and time again.  Another prime example of this influx of talent is Jordan James, who has released his new single, “Airplane”. 

Available digitally and on all streaming platforms now via Eclipse Music Group, this new track came to light one day in the studio when Jordan was telling his co-writers Michael Whitworth and Dallas Wilson a story about a time when he was 17 years old.  The rest, as they say, is history.

“I had a moment to fall into something, but it was too good to be true, and I was too stubborn”, James said.  “In the end I was watching an airplane I should have been on take off, but I wasn’t on it.  This song has been in the works for a couple years now, and it’s time to share that story!”

“Airplane” is a tune about life, love, and relationships.  It’s a real-life account of decisions we make and the impact they have on our lives.  We don’t live in a fairy tale.  Good things don’t always happen, and some of the toughest moments are the ones that stay in our hearts and minds forever.  As has been the case since he first embarked on his journey to become a country music artist, Jordan has thrived at showcasing his vulnerability as a person and an artist.   The lyrics are poetic and utterly relatable, as he croons his way through a cleverly crafted tune, inviting the listener into his head and his heart.

Following fan favorites “Truckin’ Around” and “Bigger Small Town”, “Airplane” is the latest addition to the GA native’s musical catalogue that continues to showcase the ability of one of the more promising up-and-coming talents in country music.

James unapologetically characterizes his style as “Country Music for the 21^st Century”, showcasing his admiration and self-proclamation of his modern music take on the traditional genre.  From his hometown of Buford, GA to Los Angeles to Nashville, Jordan has garnered experience working with a wide array of songwriters and producers, while also sharing the stage with everyone from Kenny Rogers to Joe Nichols to David Foster.

James is undoubtedly gearing up for a breakthrough year in 2024.  Now with the support of Eclipse Music Group and having hit the road on a nationwide tour with Six Pack Coverage, the country crooner’s music has been featured on some of the more sought-after playlists out there, from Spotify’s Next From Nashville to Fresh Finds and New Music Friday Country.
