CHRIS STAPLETON - Think I'm In Love With You - Mercury Nashville

Much to the delight of fans everywhere, country music superstar Chris Stapleton released his latest album, the 14-track collection ‘Higher’, in November 2023.  The latest single off the critically-acclaimed and fan-beloved record, “Think I’m In Love With You” is available digitally and on all streaming platforms now via Mercury Nashville.

Written by Stapleton, the new song is a classic tune pulled straight from the vault of his incredibly-impressive music catalogue, showcasing his trademark powerfully raspy vocals and blues-influenced country rock.

As we know, Chris has made a name for himself over the years for his heavy-hitting guitar licks as well as his rock-influenced vocal approach.  However, we have also seen, at times, that he can subdue his approach a bit and present his exceptional songwriting into a proclamation of love through pacified musical arrangements and poetic lyricism.

On “Think I’m In Love With You”, Stapleton’s affection and admiration shines from start to finish, as he croons his way through an honest and unapologetic ode to the love of his life. The song says everything we, who have someone special in our lives, feel but can’t always find the words to say.

“I think I’m in love with you

I didn’t know it at the time

I know what I want to do

It’s making me lose my mind

I thought about thinking it through

And every time I do I find

I wanna make your dreams come true

I think I’m in love with you”

Following in the footsteps of the likes of “Tennessee Whiskey” and “You Should Probably Leave”, “Think I’m In Love With You” is sure to be a radio smash as well as a fan favorite for years to come.  It follows “White Horse as the next single from his most recent album, ‘Higher’.

Fans will have plenty of opportunities to catch the country music star on tour, as he has dozens of dates scheduled across the country from the spring through the summer and into the fall.  He is headlining his All-American Road Show tour with special guests that include Grace Potter, Allen Stone, Marty Stuart and Nikki Lane on select dates, he will also be on the road with George Strait and Little Big Town.
