EMI Nashville’s Kylie Morgan represents the epitome of a country music success story.  A young girl with a lot of talent and big dreams moves to the big city with the hopes of becoming a star.  Years of hard work and determination result in a woman from Oklahoma becoming one of the brightest stars in the genre.  And along the way, from releasing hit singles to playing venues and festivals in front of thousands of fans across the country, she also fell in love.  And now, we’re learning a little more about that love story.  “Two Night Stands” is available now, both digitally and on all streaming platforms.

Telling the tale of the true story behind her relationship with fellow country artist Jay Allen, “Two Night Stands” offers a glimpse into what was originally thought to be a casual, fun experience with someone into a forever love that would change both of their lives.

“Was just havin’ fun, wasn’t lookin’ for the one

No, forever wasn’t part of my plan

But that one-night stand put a ring on my hand

And I wound up with two night stands”

Perhaps the most impressive element of the Oklahoma native’s musical catalogue is the sundry boundaries of country music to which she relates and at which she can excel.  From summer anthems and party songs perfect for road trips and girls’ nights out to ballads of heartbreak and now odes of nostalgia, the emotional connection she has been able to make with the country music world is undeniable as she has a devout following while also continuing to garner new fans with each release.

Lyrically, this song is everything we have come to know and love about this talented singer-songwriter.  The subject matter is personal to her but is also relatable to most of us.  Her ability to write a sophisticated story in simple terms is immaculately on display here, as the listener is almost immediately enticed to sing alongside the inviting and ear-pleasing melody.  As is with seemingly every new song we hear, Kylie once again hits it out of the park with “Two Night Stands”.

The country starlet has been in and around the industry for years, yet she is still so young with so much potential that we continue witness with each taste of new music.  The release of her debut album, ‘Making It Up As I Go,’ in October 2023 escalated her notoriety even further, with standout tracks over the past couple years continue to add to her ever-impressive music catalogue, from “Independent With You,” “If He Wanted To He Would,” and “Sugar Daddy,” among others.

Kylie also gearing up for another busy year on the road, as she is kicking off her “Making It Up As I Go” tour, stretching into the spring and summer, while also be making appearances at the biggest festivals in the country from coast to coast.  She previously was a special guest on Old Dominion’s No Bad Vibes U.S. trek which hit arenas from east to west in late 2023.
