AVERY ANNA - Make It Look Easy - Warner Music Nashville

Avery Anna made her formal introduction to the mainstream country music audience with her October 2023 release, “I Will (When You Do)” with Dylan Marlowe.  Having earned over 25 million global streams to date, the tune helped propel her into the realm of fast-rising country artists to watch.

Some of the greatest songs in history, across country music and beyond, are those that were written out of pain, sadness and heartbreak.  And while Avery has shown her ability to musically demonstrate her grief into beautiful harmonies and melodies, she turns in a new direction with her latest release.  “Make It Look Easy” is available now digitally and on all streaming platforms via Warner Music Nashville.

“Touring this past year really made me realize the REAL things that people go through that cause them to relate to songs like ‘Narcissist,’” Avery said.  “All of my sadness turned into rage, and I started writing songs like ‘Make It Look Easy.’  I hope it gives my fans another space to feel and be seen.”

“Make It Look Easy” is a tale of two tunes – one of sadness and one of anger.  A sad, waning opening verse explodes into a heavy drum beat and sharp guitar riff as she opens her vocal range with the intensity and passion of a woman scorned.  Showcasing her ability to tame her emotion as she croons her way through the vulnerably victimized stanzas, Anna hits hard as she becomes the aggressor throughout the chorus.  She knows the end is near, and she’s not sad any longer….she’s mad.

“It hit me last night

You’re planning the goodbye

Do you think that I’m blind?

I see it in your eyes

Your truck’s in the driveway

Your mind’s on the highway

Now you’re gonna leave me

And make it look easy”

Written by Avery along with Andy Sheridan, Ben Williams and producer David Fanning, the track immediately connected with fans, who viewed the teaser on Instagram Reels over 12 million times and over 3.5 million on TikTok in less than a week.

Having earned “Artist To Watch” accolades in 2023 from Spotify, Amazon Music, Pandora and CMT, among others, the Arizona native continues to shine among the most exciting new artists in country music and beyond.  Much of 2023 was spent on the road for Avery, sharing the stage with the likes of Cole Swindell, Jordan Davis, BRELAND, and Chase Rice.  She is currently at work in the studio on her highly anticipated debut album.
