Big Loud Records firecracker Ashland Craft latest release is “Your Momma Still Does”, an incredibly unique twist on a breakup song.

The track tells the story of love gone wrong, which is certainly nothing new to country music fans.  But what does make this song separate itself from the rest is the twist that the song has with regards to her exes’ mothers, during and after the relationship.

“It’s usually ‘bout twice a week

After one of her five o’clock drinks

We talk about the weather and the news

And we try not to but we talk about you”.

Written by Jonathan Singleton and Jenna LaMaster, the track perfectly captures the truth behind Ashland’s experience:

“Jonathan and Jenna are such amazing storytellers, and I’m so thankful they gave me a shot at tellin’ this one!”, Craft shares.

Her gritty yet powerful voice has made Ashland Craft one of the standout new artists on the country music scene.  Her debut album, ‘Travelin’ Kind’, included the critically acclaimed singles “Two Wildflowers and a Box of Wine” and “Trainwreck”, and she was included among CMT’s Next Women Of Country Class of 2021.  Featured in the hit “So Close” with HARDY, Craft has also opened for major country stars including Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen.

Ashland is on tour throughout the fall, opening for Zac Brown Band on their “The Comeback Tour”.
