MORGAN EVANS
"Love Is Real"
Warner Music Nashville
Country music Australian singer-songwriter Morgan Evans has released “Love Is Real”, his first single of 2021.
The subject matter of this song is nothing new. It’s a carefree, windows down, “life is good” type tune to which we all want to bob our heads, turn up the volume and enjoy the ride.
Representing wild and free, never look back type love, the track introduces an immediate catchy hook alongside Evans’ smooth but edgy vocals…and yes, it’s impossible to NOT think that he is singing about his wife, Kelsea Ballerini.
“And I could drive, your hand in mine
Oh, baby, we’ll go ‘til we run outta road
And the rust runs out these wheels
The way I feel, I know I always will
I am yours, you are mine, love is real”
Produced by Dan Huff, the song was co-written by Evans along with Jordan Reynolds and Parker Welling. The song is simple, guitar driven, with ever-relatable lyrics putting this at the top of any country road trip playlist.
Releasing his debut album in 2014, Morgan exploded onto the scene with the release of his second studio record, “Things That We Drink To” in 2018. The album spawned the fan favorites “Kiss Somebody”, “I Do”, and Day Drunk”.
Fans can catch Evans on tour with Brett Eldredge this fall.
