MUSCADINE BLOODLINE
"Dyin' For A Livin'"
Stancaster Music
Unapologetically diverse country duo Muscadine Bloodline is back with their latest single, “Dyin’ For a Livin’”. The track is a direct representation of what country music fans can expect when they see the Mobile, Alabama duo in concert.
The group, although independent, has been making waves across the country music spectrum for years, as members Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanton are a perfect complement to one another on stage and in the studio.
This track was clearly written with their live show in mind, toe tapping rhythms and in-your-face vocal delivery making for a fun and exuberant dance number. The high energy, honkytonk mentality is broadcasted from the first lines of the tune:
“Of this pickin’, grinning Dyin’ for a livin’.
Prolly gonna kill me but it’d kill me if I didn’t
It’s a fix to my addiction it’s a sing to my religion
It is what it is and it ain’t what it is isn’t
I’m a honkey-Tonkin dead man walking never quitting
Just a pickin’ grinning dyin’ for a livin’”.
Since officially becoming known as Muscadine Bloodline, the duo has released two Billboard charting EP’s and have played hundreds of shows across the south and beyond. They are currently out on the road playing nationwide through the end of the year.
