Country music songstress Sarah Darling has endured the trials and tribulations of a rising performer in the country music industry.  Her latest release, “Waves”, exemplifies moments of reflection in our lives of what might have been if a different road was taken.

Written by Darling along with Rebekah Powell and Joe Hammill, the tune explores the “what’ifs” of life, the ups and downs and the impacts they have on who we become and how we change.   The “waves” of life, whether it be love or otherwise, affect us in ways we may not even realize.

“It comes in waves

Crashing so hard on my heart

Think I’m gonna break

Lost in the rush of the water

I can’t take the way your memory

Somehow gets control of me

It comes in waves

And it goes just like the one that got away”

“Waves” serves as the first single off her upcoming new EP.  It will be her first collection of music since 2019’s ‘Wonderland’, which earned the #1 country album slot on the UK Official Country Charts upon its release.

Sarah has a handful of dates scheduled in the UK in late December to round out 2021.  To date, she has released five full-length albums, over 20 million streams, 11 million video views, and over 90 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry stage.  “Waves” and her upcoming new record serve as the next chapter in what has already been a momentous career.
