RECORDS Nashville recording artist Erin Kinsey released her latest single, “Better On Me”, on December 3 after weeks of teasing via social media.

The song offers a unique take on a breakup story, using the metaphor of a t-shirt that she gave back to a former significant other after ending the relationship.  Years later, seeing that person wearing the shirt makes her realize how much better she is now than she was in the relationship, understanding that the “shirt looked better on her”.

Kinsey’s demeanor and vocal delivery are on point on this track, and her ability to anoint her confidence through the music is evident upon the first lyric.

The hooks, melodies, and riffs immediately grab the listener’s attention, and Kinsey’s delivery of the witty lyrics will stay in our heads for days.

“It looked better on me

You said that that faded green

Sure did bring out my eyes

And boy I hate to agree

But it looked better on me”.

RECORDS Nashville is a division of Barry Weiss’s RECORDS, a joint venture with Sony Music Entertainment, and their signing of Kinsey has propelled her to another level.

“Better On Me” is the follow up to her viral hit song “Just Drive”, which has accumulated over 27 million streams / views, building momentum via TikTok and is now in regular rotation on Sirius XM’s The Highway.
