ZAC BROWN BAND
"Same Boat"
Warner Nashville/Home Grown Music
The latest release from Zac Brown Band, “Same Boat”, will take listeners on a trip back in time to the band’s earlier days. Bearing an undeniable resemblance of past chart-toppers like “Chicken Fried” and “Toes”, the tune has the feel-good vibe of the band’s earlier music that made them a household name in country music and beyond.
Complete with whistles and hand claps, the song is a party anthem and a call for love and comradery, even amongst our differences, which the world can certainly use more of right now.
“We could all believe what we believe
Peacefully agree to disagree
But you can’t judge a man
‘Til you walk a country mile in his shoes”
The song was written by front man Zac Brown along with Ben Simonetti and Jonathan Singleton, two songwriter staples in Music City and frequent collaborators with the band. It is also the first track with the group’s new label, Warner Music Nashville / Home Grown Music.
“Same Boat” is being released on the forefront of the announcement of the band’s “Comeback Tour”, hitting some of the biggest markets across the country from August through October. Special guests include Teddy Swims, Devin Dawson, Ashland Graft, Adam Doleac, and Gabby Barrett.
