SCOTTY MCCREERY - Red Letter Blueprint - Triple Tigers

Scotty McCreery opened 2024 with plenty of momentum, embarking on his two-month Cab In A Solo Tour that took him across the country before wrapping in mid-March.  Further, with the upcoming release of his 13-track album, ‘Rise and Fall’, schedule for May 10, anticipation for the North Carolina native’s next chapter is at an all-time high.

After releasing a pair of party anthems and love songs, the country crooner has turned to a topic which he feels is his utmost passion – his faith.  “Red Letter Blueprint” is the latest preview of the forthcoming album, available now digitally and on all streaming platforms now via Triple Tigers.

As a collective portrayal, ‘Rise and Fall’ is a tale of Scotty’s life, including the highs and lows, and through it all, the constant has been his faith.

“This new album was influenced by the rises and falls in my life through the years, so I wanted to sing about what sustains me,” McCreery said.  “I’ve featured songs about my wife and my son, but I also wanted to share a song about my faith.  I hope it is comforting to anyone who may need to hear these words”.

Written by McCreery along with Derek George, Brent Anderson, Jeremy Bussey, and Monty Criswell, “Red Letter Blueprint” centers around the concept of believing that everything happens for a reason, and no matter how long the road is and how difficult things may seem, the path is clear and life will unfold in the manner in which it is supposed to happen.

Scotty’s vocals are once again undeniably incredible, with his range and control resulting in an utterly mesmerizing experience for the listener, while a tenderly vulnerable piano melody glides beautifully to create an insightful ballad of trust, inner strength, and encouragement.

“Where can you go when you ain’t getting nowhere

Every turn is a dead-end road

The rain starts to fall and you’re so lost out there

Really only one place I know

When your whole world falls to pieces

And you don’t know how to build it back

There’s a red letter blueprint in King James black”

As he continues to drop new tunes and build anticipation for the release of his upcoming album, McCreery is still enjoying the success of his current Top 10 and rising single “Cab In A Solo”.  Other notable releases include “Can’t Pass The Bar” and “Love Like This”, which will also be included on ‘Rise and Fall’, collectively exploring themes of heartbreak, nostalgia, faith, and fatherhood, all while furthering Scotty’s reputation as one of the true gifted artists in country music.
