TANNER ADELL - Whiskey Blues - Columbia Records

Fast-rising singer-songwriter Tanner Adell has released her first tune of 2024.  “Whiskey Blues” is available both digitally and on all streaming platforms now.

The California native finds herself right at home and in her comfort zone on her latest track, delivering the quick, noted lyrics through her recognizable sassy exoneration.

Written by Adell, Akil King, Stephen McGregor, Will Weatherly, and Anthony Germaine White, the song features a tempo-driven, pop-induced aggressiveness that stretches the boundary lines of modern country.

The melody accents the urgency of her voice as she traces the unsuccessful, toxic vices she’s been leaning into to try and get him off her mind.  Wallowing in overthinking while dissecting the balance of her emotions, her pristine vocal performances takes her very real feelings and wraps them around an irresistible rhythm that will not only relate to the broken-hearted listener but will keep them listening.

“Heard that you been telling everyone that I’m a psycho

Heard that you, you blame my mental but that’s a le though

Heard that you, you went and bought yourself a motorcycle

Keep pretending that I’m mad but your still on my mind though”

Just as its predecessors as well as those that will follow, “Whiskey Blues” is in its own musical category.  There are elements of modern country while strong influences of pop and hip-hop are prevalent throughout the track which unapologetically tip-toes the lines of genres from start to finish.

Tallying nearly 85 million global career streams, Tanner has put the music world on notice with her hit singles “Buckle Bunny”, “Backroad”, and “Luke Combs”, among others.

Adell released her eight-song debut, ‘Buckle Bunny’, last summer, a collection of female-empowering country anthems with heavy pop and hip-hop influences.  Creating a sound and ambiance truly unique, Tanner continues to pave her own creative path to country music mainstream notoriety.

In what is expected to be the biggest year of her career thus far, Tanner is recognized as the 2024 CMT Next Women Of Country, is expected to drop more new music in the months to come, and will be making appearances at some of the biggest festivals in the country, including Stagecoach, Faster Horses, Golden Sky and Hangout Festival.
